When I think of mothers, I think of the words guidance, safety and love. This is what I've illustrated in my latest art piece. The lighthouse represents guidance, the ring around the whales is safety and the closeness between mother and baby is love.

This piece has a special personal meaning to me, as it's been 6 months since my mother passed. Her love continues to guide me and it's a bond that will never break.
